it must have been the longest week ever.
every day we trudge along and what, it's only friday?! but thank God it's friday, because that signals the end of the week. and that's good news.
anyway, as you must have noticed, the sun has shone again and i'm back blogging. rudolph has gone to where she's supposed to be, which is, in retirement. if you want to meet her you can come talk to me and we'll work some things out.
this week, was a week of near hell, filled with lack of sleep and incoherent sentences. i broke a new record by sleeping at 5am on wednesday, for 2 projects that needed doing layouts and designing collaterals. you might think that i have totally lost my social life, but you are mistaken. i have made 2 very good friends: Photoshop and InDesign. i even dream about them during my meagre hours of sleep. (speaking of dreams, i dreamt that sgp was bombed! horror of horrors. there were fighter jets flying and dropping bombs everywhere and what was frightening was, at first people did not see the danger, cos we hear those roaring sounds quite often. and then POMMM!! POMMM!!! and there were mushrooms of smoke everywhere. people were running like frantic ants all over the place. very scary.)
on a much, much lighter note, let me introduce a soon-to-be formed company, Roscol Pte Ltd. quite obviously, it's made up of 2 people, Colleen and myself. please don't make me explain the namesake. because i'm lazy, you can read col's blog for our offerings. if you're lazy like me, it's basically creative work--collaterals, doing layouts for pages, designing whatever. things that will require my best friends (refer to above). let me say at this point that cathy and felily tried to come up with a name for their own company, and came up with Cafe. or Cathilicia. i can't remember. i don't know their company's offering, but i met them for a project meeting today and felily's volunteered to be Roscol's food department head while cathy will be our fashion police.
speaking of today, i went for my first internship interview at k ult. it's an agency that focuses on experiential marketing, but is under a huge umbrella of small companies that does traditional advertising as well. actually, this paragraph is supposed to sound more exciting. maybe! putting! exclamation! marks! will! help!. haha. well, it went okay, i climbed the steps of hell (the price you have to pay for taking the shortcut) and reached there panting like a pig. alright, pigs don't pant. but you get the idea. i hope i get it, though i'm leaving it all in God's hands. am still waiting for the youth olympic games ppl to call...hope it will be soon!
i'm actually, quite tired. it was the first time last night that i had a nice long sleep, though somehow 9 hours could not make up for the minimal sleep clocked for the past week or so. spent the next few waking hours being a little high for our project discussion, and then walking to the interview place, and then being high again for the 1 hour or so that i was there. i am drained.
my eyes are going to pop. ta.
